2020 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2020 Collector Edition Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon boasts aromas of cassis, black cherry, cedar, vanilla, baking spice, and sage, with flavors of black cherry, graphite, cassis and black berry. The fruit harvested from the Rutherford Bench creates a vintage that is full bodied, tannic, with juicy acidity and a long finish.
2021 Barrel Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Barrel Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is primarily sourced from vineyards located in the mountains with valley-floor vineyards to round it out. Atlas Peak has rocky and volcanic soil, which allows the grapevines to produce concentrated and flavorful grapes. Howell Mountain is especially well-suited to growing intensely-flavored Cabernet Sauvignon due to the combination of volcanic, iron-laden soils and high elevation. The soils are especially lean, which naturally limits the vigor of the grapevines, concentrating the flavors and contributing to the intensity of the finished wine.
