Our 2021 Collector Edition Napa Valley Malbec opens with aromas of red currant, black plum, clove, blueberry, vanilla, and river stones. Flavors of boysenberry, violet and slate intermingle to create a medium body wine with a soft finish.

The fruit for this wine comes from our estate vineyard at Black Stallion and another vineyard that neighbors the Oak Knoll District Ava boundary. Oak Knoll is unique in that it is just North enough in the valley to fully ripen more robust and full bodied red varietals while still being cool enough for a long growing season to fully mature these varietals.
