Description
The fruit for our 2019 Syrah comes from 3 vineyards located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. Around 1/3rd of the blend comes from our blocks of old vine Syrah and was fermented with partial whole cluster inclusion. This fermentation technique emphasizes the peppery quality of Syrah. The moderate growing climate of Oak Knoll is ideal for growing ripe, fruit-forward Syrah with interesting peppery spicy notes to complement the fruit flavors.
