Private Group Tasting

Our impressive Barrel Room is the setting for this wine tasting for groups of 9 or more. We’ll curate a selection of 4 limited-release, winery-only wines for your group. Your host will discuss the wines, the history of the winery, our vineyards and wine production, and will walk you into the Barrel Cellar (production activity permitting).

Daily, by appointment, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (last reservation at 3:30 pm)

Price: $75 per person, plus 15% recommended gratuity

Group Estate Picnic Experience – “Bring Your Own”

Reserve a picnic table and settle in for a leisurely interlude in our lovely winery gardens, just a few hundred yards from the winery Tasting Room. You’ll choose your wines in advance of your arrival ($25/minimum wine purchase/person), and we’ll have them ready for you in the picnic area. In addition, we’ll provide an assigned picnic table, cold bottled water, take-away unbreakable glasses and a wine opener. Bring your own picnic lunch or snacks to enjoy with your wines.

Daily, April 1 – November 15, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (last reservation at 3:00 pm). Available for groups of 9 or more guests.

Price: Minimum wine purchase of $25/person plus additional fees depending on group size. Please inquire at concierge@blackstallionwinery.com.

The Group Estate Picnic Experience is not available between Nov. 16 and March 31.

Group Terrace Tasting

This wine tasting experience for groups of 9 or more is offered on our shaded patio. You’ll taste 4 limited-release, winery-only wines, and your host will discuss the wines, the history of the winery and the property, viticulture and wine production. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit our self-guided Demonstration Vineyard, just a few steps away from the patio.

Daily, by appointment, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (last reservation at 3:30 pm)

Price: $65 per person, plus 15% recommended gratuity

Perfect Pairings

Explore the delicious tastes of Napa Valley with our wine and food pairing program, designed by Winery Chef Tom Sixsmith to showcase how thoughtful pairings of food and wine can enhance flavors, textures and aromas. This relaxed, communal seated tasting features seasonal small bites artfully matched with a selection of our limited-production, award-winning wines.

Vineyard to Table Lunch

We’ll begin this luxury wine and food experience with a warm welcome and a brief walking tour of our estate. We’ll then sit down together to a lively, leisurely 3-course lunch featuring fresh seasonal products from our culinary gardens and local artisan purveyors. Winery Chef Tom Sixsmith has paired each course with our exceptional wines for the ultimate wine and food pairing experience.

Enjoy sweeping views of the Vaca Mountains from your reserved high-top table on our Front Terrace. Choose your tasting from our menu of Mixed, Red, Club Selection or Prestige wine tastings, wines by the glass, or wines by the bottle. In addition, we offer a cheese and charcuterie selection to enhance your tasting experience.

Daily, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (last reservation at 3:45 pm). Available for groups up to 8 guests.

Relax in our comfortable lounge-style seating and enjoy a curated flight of 4 Black Stallion wines at your reserved table on our Garden Terrace. In addition, we offer a cheese and charcuterie selection to enhance your tasting experience.
