2010 Bucephalus Red Blend
We experienced optimal growing conditions at our Bucephalus vineyard sites during the 2010 vintage. The long growing season and warm weather just prior to harvest yielded a smaller than average crop resulting in wines with exceptional aromatics, concentrated ripe fruit flavors, and rich, powerful texture and depth and intensity. The 2010 vintage showcases Cabernet Sauvignon and other varietals grown in the Napa Valley.
By selecting small lots from premiere vineyards, aging in the best barrels, and meticulous blending, we create a deeply concentrated and exceedingly elegant wine. The 2010 Bucephalus showcases aromas of blackberry, cassis, cedar, and spice with subtle hints of lavender. The aroma components integrate beautifully with the rich, ripe, fruit flavors and subtle nuances of cocoa, spice and coffee. This bold, full-bodied wine is balanced by a long finish and ripe, powerful tannins.
