Tasting Notes:

This bright effervescent Rose is delicate but full of flavor. Aromas of peach, strawberry, melon and floral notes of fresh rose and lavender follow through onto the palate.

Winemaker Notes:

Our 2008 Rose was made with 100% Syrah from fruit of the Oak Knoll District and Coombsville. This wine, inspired by the lush fruity roses of Provence, is made by gently pressing whole clusters of fruit until just the right color is released without excess tannin or astringency. The fruit from these two small vineyards was combined and fermented slowly in stainless steel at a cool temperature to preserve the elegant fruit qualities.

This wine is delicious with grilled salmon or an appetizer of goat cheese and olives.
