Riesling

Our 2008 Riesling shows elegant subtle aromas of floral sweet spice reminiscent of spring wild flowers, Sweet William and orange blossom. These aromas follow through to the delicate but complex palate where flavors of Anjou pear, white peach and honey linger into the finish.

We picked the fruit for our 2008 Riesling from a little vineyard, just one half mile south west of the winery in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. This is the first year we have worked with this very special vineyard lot and we are delighted with the quality.

This wine is versatile and pairs well with lobster salad, barbeque shrimp, grilled savory chicken, and desserts such as fruit tart, creme Brule or poached pears.
