About This Wine:
Delicate aromas of jasmine and hibiscus flowers, Meyer lemon, toasted almonds and honey describe this complex but approachable chardonnay. The palate is crisp and full of pear, apple and ripe peach, passion fruit and other subtle tropical flavors with a lingering creamy finish and hints of toasted graham crackers.

Winemaker Notes:
Our 2006 Chardonnay comes from one of the best-known growing regions for Chardonnay in the Napa Valley. The Carneros vineyards enjoy the clay loam soil and the cooling effects from San Pablo Bay. The hotter inland valleys draw the fog from the bay over the land as the day progresses protecting the grapes from the hot summer sun and allowing them to ripen slowly. This gives the Chardonnay from this region complex aromas and bright flavors. The wine was 100% barrel fermented and went through 100% malolactic fermentation in the barrel.
